Welcome to the Mount Morris Library!

The Loudest Library in Livingston County.

A place where You can do You.

Because libraries are for everyone.

Everyone’s seen the Librarian stereotype.  A scary-angry lady in a tight bun, glaring through cat-eye glasses as she blasts wayward patrons with a loud “SHHHHH!”  Maybe that was a thing 100 years ago, before streaming and the internet, when libraries were highly-controlled quiet spaces and people wore suits to breakfast. But these days? No way.

We’re library people BECAUSE we love people.

Here at Mount Morris Library, our goal is to make sure you have easy access to the things you need to make your life work, no matter who you are or what you do. Need a new read? We’ve got you covered. Got questions about life, job-hunting, parenting, or digital devices?  We’ve got that too.  We’ve got new things to learn and fun things to do, all for the low, low price of FREE.

We’re here for you.
At Mount Morris Library, we’ve got free access to information, learning opportunities, and digital resources, and we’ve got the time to work with you and make sure you get the answers you need.
